Kani Basami is one of the most controversial throws in all grappling sports. When done correctly it can be a very effective throw/sweep, but when done incorrectly it can lead to some serious injuries, for this reason it was banned from international Judo in 80s. In this short clip I have compiled some safely executed Kani Basami techniques.
