Here is my countdown of the top 5 most intimidating boxers currently competing. For this list I factor in both demeanor, stare downs and also in-ring performances so if anyone is wondering why Golovkin is here it's because he's arguably the most avoided fighter in the world and has an unbelievable knockout record. 1. Dmitry Kudryashov - Is a Russian professional boxer and the current WBA International cruiserweight champion. He holds a current record of 18-0 with 18 knockouts. 2. Sergey Kovalev - Is a Russian professional boxer. He is the reigning unified WBA, IBF and WBO light heavyweight champion, and is known for his devastating punching power. Kovalev holds notable victories over former world champions Bernard Hopkins, Jean Pascal, Gabriel Campillo and Nathan Cleverly. In 2014 he was named Fighter of the Year by The Ring magazine. 3. Wladimir Klitschko - Is a Ukrainian professional boxer and the reigning world heavyweight champion, holding the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO and The Ring magazine heavyweight titles. 4. Gennady Golovkin - Is a Kazakh professional boxer who is the current WBA (Super) and IBO middleweight champion. He holds the highest knockout ratio in middleweight championship history with a 90.9% knockout percentage, and is ranked the number four pound for pound boxer by The Ring magazine. 5. Artur Beterbiev - Is a Russian professional boxer who fights at light heavyweight. As an amateur he won a silver medal at the 2007 World Amateur Boxing Championships, gold at the 2009 World Amateur Boxing Championships, as well as gold at the 2006 and 2010.
