The WORST Infection I've Ever Seen from Training in Thailand

It occurred from a minor training accident, I believe Tim kicked an elbow in sparring, which resulted in his leg swelling up. This then turned into some sort of infection which spread through leg and ended up with Tim developing a flesh eating disease. The stuff of nightmares and I wish Tim a speedy recovery! Throughout my nearly 20 years of training and coaching, I've seen infections such as ringworm, cellulitis, and staph infection, resulting from training in either unhygienic conditions or an injury, but nothing like what Tim has gone through! Training safety is no joke and there is a reason why coaches treat the mat space as sacred! No shoes or trainers on the mat! Clean your equipment and shower regularly!
