On her 12th birthday, Lin Chia-Tung's (Kai-Syuan Tzeng) life of privilege comes to a crashing halt when her father declares bankruptcy and is sent off to prison. Despite her dire situation and the mistreatment she receives at the hands of relatives, she maintains her positivity and looks to the future with optimism.
