Muay Thai/kickboxing defence & counters highlight featuring Buakaw Banchamek (Buakaw Highlight บัวขาว บัญชาเมฆ). Buakaw Banchamek is widely recognised as one of the greatest kickboxers of all time. He burst on to the K-1 kickboxing scene in 2004 when he defeated the then favourite, Masato, in the final without any prior experience of competing in the K-1 ruleset. The key to Buakaw's early success was a result of his ability to hold off opponents using his Muay Thai defensive guards, precision head movement, rapid counter strikes and, of course, his immense physical strength. Although he primarily used his quick left kick to counter his opponents' attacks, Buakaw was truly a master of all weapons in these competitions.
