The official lyric video of “Rain” by Sarah Geronimo. Miss Granny” is the Philippine reimagining of the hit Korean movie of the same title. The movie’s premise is rife for fun as as our protagonist taps into a fountain of youth of sorts which returns her to her prime. For Sarah Geronimo, it’s an excuse to dig deep into a treasure trove of classic tunes from pop’s golden era. A must-hear is Sarah G’s version of the Boy Mondragon gem “Rain.” We’ve always known that Sarah G has a knack for turning the songs that she covers into definitive versions, but on this one she surpasses her previous, and it just gives us chills. Of the good kind of course! #MissGranny opens on August 22 in cinemas nationwide!
