Few women can match Sara’s raw strength like Cat Power but Del Rey gets the jump on the barefoot brunette, charging her at the bell and setting the tone for this match as she chokes Cat out with her t-shirt before chucking her across the ring. Cat puts up a fight, but Sara’s not pulling any punches here, using eyegouges, finger rakes and brutal chokes to keep Cat down. Cat suffers a devastating assault to her neck as Sara slices her up with knife-edge chops and follows up with debilitating trapezius nerve claws and repeated strikes and Mongolian chops to Cat’s throat. Power struggles to hang on as she suffers for a full 10 minutes through the worst Sara has to offer. Cat finally manages to catch her breath and grab the momentum, leveling Sara with a Clothesline before taking her on a turnbuckle smash tour of all 4 corners. Sara’s down, but does Cat have enough left to keep out of Del Rey’s Royal Butterfly long enough to complete her comeback?
