One of the most entertaining boxers, Emanuel Augustus became the IBA light welterweight champion by defeating Alex Trujillo via UD. In 2006 he became the WBC Continental Americas light welterweight champion by defeating Russell Jones and in 2008 he knocked out Jakkirt Suwunnalirt to win the WBO Oriental welterweight title.
