The distant future: Humanity established the mobile fort city, Plantation, upon the ruined wasteland. Within the city were pilot quarters, Mistilteinn, otherwise known as the “Birdcage.” That is where the children live... Their only mission in life was the fight. Their enemies are the mysterious giant organisms known as Kyoryu. The children operate robots known as FRANXX in order to face these still unseen enemies. Among them was a boy who was once called a child prodigy: Code number 016, Hiro. One day, a mysterious girl called Zero Two appears in front of Hiro. “I’ve found you, my Darling.”

(Source: Crunchyroll)

what a nice ending😭😭
To the creators of Darling in the Franxx, We don’t know if Season 2 will ever come… but we still wait every single day. Because this wasn’t just an anime. It was a story filled with emotions, love, and pain. The ending of Hiro and Zero Two left an emptiness in our hearts that still hasn’t faded away. Many anime come and go, and eventually we forget them. But Darling in the Franxx is impossible to forget. Even today, hearing the word “Darling…” makes our hearts tremble. So this is our small emotional request— if possible, please take us back to that world one more time. We want to see Hiro and Zero Two smile together again. We hope this long wait becomes reality someday… — From the fans who are still waiting with broken hearts ❤️
