Many boxers have made solid careers off the jab alone, the likes of Paulie Malignaggi became a world champion off of his slick jab. Some of the best of all time; Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sugar Ray Leanord, Floyd Mayweather, all had exceptional jabs and built a lot of their game around it. The Jab will establish range and distance management, a crucial component when controlling the action in a fight. Even known KO artists like GGG and Kovalev (featured in the video) have solid jabs that not only help set up their power punches but actually have KO wins with the technique.
