Lex won the championship on the August 4th 1997 episode of WCW Nitro, many people consider it to be one of the greatest moments in Nitro history, but then Lex dropped the title later in the week back to Hollywood Hogan (at WCW's Road Wild 1997 event). This video covers the championship win, why it happened, and why Lex lost the title again mere days later on pay per view.
