On October 24, 2015, Terence "Bud" Crawford took on Dierry Jean at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska, where Crawford defended his WBO junior welterweight title. From the opening rounds, Crawford displayed his versatility by switching stances, using his southpaw stance to disorient Jean. The undefeated champion systematically broke down Jean with pinpoint accuracy, speed, and powerful combinations, showcasing his elite ring IQ. In the tenth round, after suffering multiple knockdowns throughout the fight, Jean was ultimately overwhelmed, and the referee stepped in to stop the bout, awarding Crawford a TKO victory. This win further solidified Crawford's status as a dominant force in the division and proved his adaptability against a seasoned opponent.
