Chen had a meteoric rise in the ADCC event series where he earned a medal in the promotion’s Asia & Oceania Qualifier (2022) with only 4 years of training. Jozef Chen received his black belt from Craig Jones on March 6, 2025, at the B-Team Headquarters in Austin.
