On August 8, 2020, at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, David Morrell Jr. faced Lennox Allen for the interim WBA World Super Middleweight Title. Despite being only his third professional bout, Morrell showcased exceptional skill and dominance throughout the 12-round contest. He consistently outperformed Allen, landing a total of 207 punches compared to Allen's 90. Morrell's relentless body attacks and precise combinations kept Allen on the defensive, leading to a unanimous decision victory with judges' scores of 120-108, 119-109, and 118-110. Looking ahead, Morrell is scheduled to face David Benavidez on February 1, 2025, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. This highly anticipated bout will unify Morrell's WBA 'Regular' title and Benavidez's WBC interim belt. Tensions between the two fighters escalated during a recent press event, where a physical altercation occurred, adding further intensity to the upcoming showdown. Both Morrell and Benavidez have recently moved up to the light heavyweight division after unsuccessful attempts to secure a fight with Canelo Alvarez. Their upcoming clash is expected to be a significant event in the boxing world, given their undefeated records and the personal animosity that has developed between them. ╔═╦╗╔╦╗╔═╦═╦╦╦╦╗╔═╗ ║╚╣║║║╚╣╚╣╔╣╔╣║╚╣═╣ ╠╗║╚╝║║╠╗║╚╣║║║║║═╣ ╚═╩══╩═╩═╩═╩╝╚╩═╩═╝ to the channel people -------------------- 00:00 Intro 0:32 Staredown 3:50 Round 1 4:49 Round 7 -------------------- ✅Follow me ✅ insta @charlessalbox facebook @charlessalbox Footage rights provided by PREMIER BOXING CHAMPIONS & WSC Sports - https://tinyurl.com/charlessalbox #boxing #usa #mexico #losangeles
