Brian and Steve discuss Phil’s place in the Memphis territory, his wild arena brawls, his run-ins with names like Jerry Lawler, Tommy Rich, Eddie Gilbert, Harley Race, and the future Sting and Ultimate Warrior, plus his later transformation into P.Y. Chu-Hi. The show also covers what made Hickerson so respected by fans and wrestlers alike: his timing, his toughness, his believable promos, and his ability to make everyone he worked with look better.
