Weapons are illegal in a fight, but Muay Thai legend Samkor Kiatmontep brought one against Japanese kickboxing legend Satoshi Kobayashi: his left kick. Every time Kobayashi threw five fast strikes, he was met with one thunder kick. The shock effect created hesitation, and Samkor took over: a dead arm, a flying jumping high kick, and a knockout in round 3. Satoshi had the heart of a warrior and kept getting up until his body said no more. In this episode of Legendary Striking, we break down the sophisticated simplicity behind the most legendary left kicker of all time: one powerful weapon turned into a complete, adaptable way of fighting.
