Ariel pokes Lexi in the eyes before the next lockup, then takes her to the mat with a Side Headlock. Lexi powers out and applies an armbar, but Ariel counters it into a Figure Four Leglock. Lexi powers out, and once again the two prepare to lock up. This happens throughout this battle, with the 2 swapping positions, as one will take an early advantage only to be countered by the other, eventually resulting in a rope break. They try to work each other over with Abdominal Stretches, Sleeperholds, and a crossface. Things start to pick up as the match nears its conclusion, with Lexi nailing Ariel with 2 running Clotheslines, then a Clothesline in the corner. The action spills out of the ring briefly before several quick reversals result in a surprise roll-up and 3 count to end this evenly matched battle.
