No matter where or when it’s played, their music radiates a sense of coming home, of discovering a piece of the world that has yet remained unclaimed and untainted. That’s exactly what the South African duo’s next album builds on. In ‘Late Night People’, the signature vibes of GoldFish have evolved and adapted to mesmerize an even wider range of dance music lovers. Between its funky and sexy title track, the upbeat ‘If I Could Find’ and the ever-vibrant ‘Rising Sun’ (with Pontifexx and Gustavo Bertoni), the album harbors twelve records that are as diverse as they are alike, coexisting peacefully. As proven by their previous four albums , you can leave it to GoldFish to deliver a body of work that’s both kaleidoscopic and unified. But most of all, this album is here for whomever brilliantly crafted music is indispensable. It is here for the ‘Late Night People’.
