Takanori Nagase is a Japanese judoka, who competes in -81 kg weight category. He is 2015 World Champion, 2020 Olympic champion and 6-time national champion. He is the first Japanese judoka to win World championships in -81 kg weight category. His main throws are O Soto Gari, Ashi Guruma, Uchi Mata and O Uchi Gari. Despite his top level achievements and excellent technical Judo skills, he doesn't get as much attention as other more athletic judokas in his country or his weight category.
