De buena mañana viene Gedo nos da un sorpresón con la New Japan Cup. No solo los semifinalistas son 4 luchadores jóvenes que nunca habían ganado antes el torneo, sino que encima lo gana Callum Newman, convirtiéndose en el ganador más joven de la historia y además se establece como el heel principal de la empresa tras las salidas de EVIL y David Finlay. Un trofeo que vistos los dos últimos combates de su torneo, no le queda grande ni mucho menos. Estamos viendo como Callum, Uemura, Boltin e incluso Umino han evolucionado este 2026 en una versión aún mejor de lo que eran, y Callum es el que más. Ahora se enfrentará a Tsuji por el IWGP Heavyweight Championship, y vete a saber qué pasa por la cabeza de Gedo.
