In the latest episode of Wolves Unpacked, host James Bird and former Wolves player Dave Edwards go through the three stages of the Cardiff game, which demonstrate Cesar Peixoto's Wolves gameplan. Two early goals came from a combination of high pressing, patient build up, then attacking with intent and getting bodies into the box. After we added a third goal, Wolves settled into a 442 shape and broke with pace and intent, creating a different kind of chance. The pair discuss Wolves' success when facing teams playing out from the back, winning without high possession and baiting the press when facing teams in a low block.
