Sustainability is the most important factor. I considered putting a calorie deficit first, but if you diet too aggressively, and can’t stick to that deficit, then you will end up regaining any fat you lost.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Calorie Deficit. You're simply not losing fat if you're eating too many calories.⁣⁣⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Lifting weights sends the signal to our body to keep our muscle tissue. This means that all the weight we are losing is coming from fat stores rather than muscle.⁣⁣⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. Sleep deprivation has been shown to have a negative impact on the ratio of muscle to fat we lose when in a deficit.⁣ Furthermore lack of sleep can impact our training and our eating habits⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⁣⁣⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5.
