The Dungeon of Doom pushed Hogan over the edge by shaving off his legendary facial-hair on an episode of Monday Nitro, and this act led to Hulk Hogan exploring his heel side (a little). While wearing all black gear and promising to do what he had to do in order to save Hulkamania and the Hulkamaniacs, Hogan went to Halloween Havoc 1995 to face The Giant in both a Monster Truck match and a standard World Title wrestling match later in the evening. Hulk dropped the WCW Championship to the Giant, and Macho Man Randy Savage would join Hogan's cause afterwards. It turned out that a match with Sting would help Hogan return to the "light side" of WCW.
