Anyone who has lived in Thailand and immersed themselves in the sport of Muay Thai knows that, traditionally, there is no grading system in Muay Thai. As Michael Bisping rightly points out in his podcast, grades and belts in Muay Thai are a concept designed to retain students and increase revenue.
