Slay the Spire 2 Early Access Review after 30 hours… and yeah, I didn’t expect this. At first glance, it feels almost the same as Slay the Spire 1. Same animations, same combat flow, same overall look… not a huge visual upgrade. But the more I played? The more it clicked. This is basically Slay the Spire 1 on steroids. More classes, more enemies, more relics, more cards, multi-phase bosses… everything is just bigger and deeper. And this is only early access, which is kind of crazy. Balance is still rough right now—some classes feel strong, others feel way weaker, but that’s expected at this stage. What surprised me the most? How insanely addictive it is. I spent 30 hours in the game… and it honestly felt like 3. You just keep going for “one more run” and suddenly hours are gone. Replayability is insane: Multiple classes Tons of builds Weekly challenges Multiplayer Endless runs So yeah… it doesn’t reinvent the formula. But it doesn’t need to. It just makes everything better.
