(تشون وانج) حارس أخرق ضمن الحرس الإمبراطوري لإمبراطور الصين، حينما يتم اختطاف الأميرة (بي بي) من المدينة المُحرمّة، يشعر بالمسئولية تجاه خطفها وأن من واجبه المشاركة في استرجاعها، فيتطوع للسفر مع المجموعة التي تتأهب لاسترجاعها من أمريكا حيث نقلها الخاطفون، يفقد أثر زملائه في صحراء (نيفادا)، ثم يلتقي مع سارق القطارات (روي أبانون) المُصاب بجنون العظمة ليشكلا ثنائيًا في البحث عن الأميرة.

Watch this movie! It's been 20 years but still just so good! It is filled with comedy, action, emotions, and a great story! A wild wild ride back to the wild wild west. Jackie Chan and Owen Wilson are geniuses.
The story is nothing to crow about but Wilson and Chan are an appealing enemies-to-buddies pair in this silly western. Their chemistry and the largely inventive fights make this a pleasant way to waste of a few hours. Chan gets a lot of laughs from his physical while Wilson gets a lot of laughs from his dopey surfer dude schtick. This has the second best drunk horse in Western history behind Cat Ballou.
