Unquestionably a product of her environment, Red grew up saying exactly what was on her mind. Back in St. Louis she never considered filtering the things she’d say and without ever meaning to, she’d find herself shocking many of her friends with her colorful vocabulary. And once she played the song for her cheating boyfriend, a funny thing happened – he loved it.
