WWF Raw is War did not air on the USA Network on August 25th 1997, the WWF would instead air "Friday Night's Main Event" later in the week. With Nitro having no competition on Monday night, the company would try to put on a great show (seeing as WWF regulars would also be tuning in). Sting has made it clear that he wants a match with Hollywood Hogan of the nWo. Eric Bischoff doesn't want the bout to take place, but J.J Dillon has a message for Eric this week that pretty much guarentees that Sting vs Hogan will happen in the future. The Icon is in the building tonight for Monday Nitro, and he confronts Eric Bischoff during the broadcast. The main event this week features another WCW vs nWo battle when Lex Luger takes on Randy Savage.
