As expected, the boxer gets low kicked. But then, he came up with a brilliant strategy to get the mma fighter to fight his game, resulting in a hand trap KO. I took this opportunity to dive a bit into why the low kick was working, what could've been done better, and most importantly, the details of the hand trap. The hand trap has worked amazing throughout Muay Thai, kickboxing, and boxing fights. Legends such as Buakaw, Superlek, Saenchai have all used it to great success, and Shannon did a great job at utilizing it in this kickboxing match.
