This was a must- win fight for Moorcroft, who was coming off the back of two consecutive losses. But leaving nothing to question, he followed the game plan, set by lead coach, Anthony Crolla. With some close rounds, James found a way to brake down his opponent with a varied shot selection, targeting the body to reach victory in the penultimate round. James has boxed on the big stage, challenging for the WBO European Welterweight Championship in summer last year. He took Eithan James the full ten rounds in a hard-fought, competitive contest.
