Fabian Edwards knocked out Dalton Rosta with a devastating left head kick to win the PFL World Tournament. And if that finish looked familiar, it's because his brother Leon Edwards famously knocked out Kamaru Usman with the same weapon to become UFC welterweight champion. Lightning struck twice! But Fabian's knockout wasn't simply about the head kick itself. It was about identifying and exploiting a predictable defensive habit. In this Pro Film Study, we look back at Dalton Rosta's fight against Aaron Jeffery, where he repeatedly used his rear hand to parry incoming attacks. We then break down how Fabian presented multiple threats from his left side, drew out Rosta's defensive reactions and ultimately capitalised with a perfectly timed head kick. If you enjoy this style of breakdown, let me know in the comments which fights you’d like to see next.
