Sixteen knockouts in eighteen fights. At twenty-one years old, Abdullah Mason is boxing's scariest young puncher — and old trainers keep whispering the same two words: young Tyson. Forty years earlier, a trainer in a Catskill gym taught a frightened teenager that fear behaves exactly like fire. That teenager became Mike Tyson. In Norfolk, Virginia, forty-eight seconds into a fight he was supposed to win easily, Mason found himself on the floor with the referee counting above him — and three minutes to prove he had learned the same lesson. This is the story of five nights that built him: the one-punch KO in Las Vegas, the veteran broken in Newark, four knockdowns in a single round at Madison Square Garden, a title-tested puncher dismantled in Norfolk — and the night Mason himself hit the canvas twice, got up, and answered like the ghosts of Catskill.
