Bohachuk is nicknamed "El Flaco" meaning "Skinny" in English, for his thin frame. Despite his build however, he is one of the hardest punchers in his weight class as he has scored 24 knockouts in his 25 wins. Bohachuk had built up a record of 18-0 (18 KO's) when he faced Brandon Adams in 2021, in a big upset, Adamas defeated Bohachuk by TKO in the 8th round marking the first loss of his professional career. He then rebounded with 6 straight wins, including a unanimous decision victory over former world title challenger Brian Mendoza.
