On November 30, 2019, Oscar Valdez faced Adam Lopez in a thrilling featherweight bout at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas in Las Vegas, Nevada. Lopez, a late replacement for Valdez’s original opponent, shocked the crowd by knocking Valdez down in the second round with a sharp left hook.
